Saturday 18th November 2006, Martin is exhibiting a new body of work at the Rope Store Gallery, Quay Arts, Newport, Isle of Wight. Under the title “I See No Ships”, Martin makes an interesting departure from his usual marine subject matter, drawing on colours and shapes found in the forest at various times of the year to create a series of largely abstract oil paintings and oil transfer prints. The exhibition runs until Saturday, January 6th 07.
